Sorry for asking but quite sometime back more than a decade ago I had read a story/anecdote on asktom, it had a story on the lines wherein the DB architect plans to store the data in a columnar format and then cribs about bad performance. a new project manager replaces him goes through the project and the only punch line I vividly recollect is he writes on the board RUN LIKE HELL... it was so funny I still remember it, but cannot find the exact link to it.
