Hi,

The documentation
https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/19/ostmg/asm-filegroups.html#GUID-BE9083C8-A5DF-48CD-BB32-C8A6FCDA3E7B
say about redundancy PARITY: "not supported on data files".
But what if i have ReadOnly tablespace? I'd like to put RO TS in the ASM diskgroup with PARITY redundancy.
Explain, please, is it possible to use PARITY for ReadOnly tablespace?

Thank you !

I asked the ASM team.

"Data files are not supported to have those redundancies even if they are read-only"

Sorry
