Hello,

I want to know to upload the Digital Signature in database.
After uploading digital signature I want to populate those signature in report as well as forms as per condition employee name.
we need this in PO module the client want that signature in PO report and PO form in action history.

given you don't even say what your digital signature is - you sort of assume "digital signature - it is a datatype or something" - I don't see how anyone could help you.


If your digital signature is of the "standard form" - whereby you take

a) the document to be signed, the PO I suppose
b) the users private key (from their PKI certificate perhaps)

to generate a message hash - that later given that same document AND the users PUBLIC key - we can verify that the document was signed by the holder of that private key.....


Then your digital signature is simply a RAW binary field, you would use the RAW datatype (or a varchar2 datatype twice as long as the raw field would be - to store the signature in ascii HEX characters).


So, your digital signature would just be data, nothing special - it is data you generate, store and use.

I think the digital signatures in question are image files - either scanned or written on PDA's like UPS - which he would like to display those imagefiles in his Purchase Order forms and reports. The question I think is really how to upload images and display them in forms and reports :-)
