You Asked

Hi, Tom.

Can you recommend an Oracle tool to migrate from DB2 to Oracle 8i
I know that Oracle Migration Workbench cannot do it, but I am sure, that it is not a first time, when someone should migrate from DB2 to Oracle.

Can you help me?

1. What is the best approach to migrate from access to
oracle (9.2)

2. Is the ODBC conversion kit from your link free from
metalink/otn

3. Does the migration move relationships ( primary key,
fK, indexes, triggers) automatically

4. Anything special to be done to migrate "memo" columns
to CLOB

there is the migration workbench available on otn.oracle.com - it would be well worth looking at.

To migrate from MS Access to oracle utilizing oracle Migration Workbench, is it a pre-requisite to host MS Access s/w and oracle RDBMS on the same m/c

Can this be done remotely, MS Access on the client and oracle on the server
