PL SQL package getting into performance issue when it's get executed usually run few seconds but sometimes it's run more then 40 seconds. Id we compile the package immediately performance back to normal in few seconds.

can you please advise what / how could be the reason after compiling the package the performance back to normal?

The best way would be to trace it for both fast and slow executions

- dbms_monitor.session_trace_enable(waits=>true);
- run package
- dbms_monitor.session_trace_disable

and then look at the tkprof formatted trace file (or put relevant parts in here as a review).
