Hello TOM,

I installed a virtual box with the Cloud Control with this link : https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/oem/enterprise-manager/downloads/oem-templates-2767917.html
I choose the link "VM Virtual Box for Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13c Release 1 (13.1.0.0)".

Installation is OK, I can run the VM, open the Entreprise Manager Cloud Control but, surprise, there is no database with this Virtual Box.
I thought there will be the test database ORCL but no...

I followed the content of the file "README_EM_13200_VBox_Template" : "Click on the "start_all.sh" icon on the desktop and choose "Run in Terminal" to start all processes (database, listener, OMS and Management Agent)."
but nothing in the Cloud Control.

Other thing, there is Linux 6 but impossible to find the console, to run linux commands.

Can you tell me what to do to create a database and to see it in the Cloud Control?

Have a nice day and thank you very much for your job here :-)

I'd simply fire up another Virtual Box instance with its own database from here

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/community/developer-vm/index.html

which will have a pre-configured database in a virtual box. Just adjust your virtual network adapter settings so that the 2 VM's can talk to each other and you should be good to do.

Alternatively you could download the database software from here

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html

and then install it into the existing VM. Here's a couple of videos I did on that
