Hi Tom.

Thanks you very much for a very good blog.. You are the best..

I am wondering if there is a Java addon to do RSA Encryption/Decryption in SQL.

Thanks inadvance ..

In sql, we already encrypt/decrypt for you transparently:

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14220/security.htm#sthref2681

if you want to do it procedurally yourself, we supply packages for that - callable from sql/plsql/java/whatever can connect to Oracle.

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/d_crypto.htm#ARPLS664

RSA is typically used in a streaming protocol - and if you want to encrypt a conversation between the database and client we use

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/network.102/b14268/asotools.htm#sthref103

as for availability of java packages to mimic builtin behavior - you'd have to ask around on java forums.

You don't say what your goal is, so it is very very very hard to answer this.
