Hi Dear,
I have a problem with standby database, whenever I run recovery manager in standby database it terminates and shows "ORA-46952: standby database format mismatch for password file" in alter log.
I did not find any in oracle support.
I would be glad to help me.

Password files have a "version", because from time to time we improve the internal format for security purposes etc.

You can see the version from

select file_name, format from v$passwordfile_info;

If you regenerate your password file on the primary with 'orapwd' , and the copy it to the standby you should be OK
