Team,

was reading this post - https://blogs.oracle.com/datawarehousing/post/using-the-excel-add-in-to-query-autonomous-database
and downloaded zip file (oracleplugin.zip) and ran the install.cmd file - but still don't see the My Add-ins in the insert tab from Excel

that oracleplugin.zip file was from my always free ATP database running on 21c database.
is that not supported on always free ATP database ?

I've tested this with my own free ATP and its fine,

Make sure you are choosing to get your addin from the shared folder not the left most "my addins" tab

EXCEL_ADDIN

Plug-in for Generic Use

The plug-in looks quite promising.
Just wondering whether there are any plans to release/use it for other setups like ExaCC

I dont know, but if you download the plugin you can see from the XML that its just hooks into ORDS. I'd imagine you could tailor it easily enough for any database with ORDS access

Parameters - URL

Where can you find the Autonomous DB URL for the parameters in the add-in?
