    Am I correct that the Document Generator is only available through OCI. Any plans to offer the Document Generator on-premise?

    Correct, this is only available on OCI. I'm not aware of any plans to offer it on-premises.

    Can this be used to directly send receipts to POS printers? any link about it?

    Remember the UI for APEX apps is all in the browser, so you can pop up a print dialog, or the user will have to click a button, or use their browser print feature

    This is a REST Endpoint that you need to stand up on a paid OCI tenancy - but will work from your database.

    How are charts and BLOBs supported for pdf printing? I have used APEX Office Print before and printing charts and pictures was quite challenging…

    Document Generator supports dynamic images but that is not yet part of the 24.1 integration. Charts is also something we are looking into for a future release.

    How can i get mobile application source, want to download and install our environment like apex.oracle.com gallery based?

    The code for our sample apps are available in GitHub: https://github.com/oracle/apex;remember, you can install these sample apps from the APEX Gallery - once you install them, you can go under the hood with APEX Builder and page designer and see how each page is configured

    I have created an IR on top of the REST DataSource and from the Nested JSON Columns and now I need to make the data that is inside the Columns as a Link so that when I click on that It can redirect to another page and I can pass on the values, But when a Save the page after making the page Item as LINK then it again converted into Plain Texts what to do ?

    I'm getting the following error in my autonomous 24.1: APEX - The DBMS_CLOUD package is not available on this system.

    This is a known issue that will be addressed when APEX 24.1.2 patch is deployed to Autonomous Database, tentatively in early August.

    In Report Queries when the query is set the JSON gets downloaded but when we set the template and test the report it thorws out an LOB error "ORA-06502: PL/SQL: value or conversion error: invalid LOB locator specified: ORA-22275" the same error appears when used in a Dynamic Action. The same query works very well in a classic report when used for printing

    Is an enhancement to Document Generator Service something I should post on APEX Ideas, or is the forum the best place to post support for other formats than PDF?

    With APEX 24.1, you can set up a Document Generator function as a Print Server. You need to provision a document Generator function on OCI to integrate this

    Yes, Excel is on the roadmap. XLSX to XLSX, and XLSX to PDF.

    When linking to a faceted search page, can you set some of the facets by sending item values based on the link being clicked by the user? For interactive reports I know you can use IR_ID and then &ID. Is there

    Facets are treated like page items, so you can just build URL syntax to set page items. If that references facets, things should just work
