Join this live webcast to learn how Dan Larsson the founder of Kemdb used Oracle APEX Low-Code platform to create a unified database so everyone could handle the chemicals in their workplace correctly, track and follow strict European chemical legislation, and make safer choices in the first place. In Larsson's assessment, numerous small enterprises may house a plethora of distinct chemicals within their operational environments.
A significant portion of these chemicals possess hazardous attributes. Among them, there are CMR substances, which are chemicals categorized as carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic. Larsson points out, "Routine daily usage of such chemicals without immediate ramifications might inadvertently foster a misplaced sense of safety." It's universally acknowledged how to handle flammable chemicals; however, the hazards associated with CMR substances are more insidious and often less perceptible.
Built on Oracle APEX, the Kemdb app helps solve this problem by connecting customers to the hazard information from chemical distributors in a more efficient way. In addition to traditional safety datasheets, the app gives users access to an extensive database they can search for an overview of all the chemicals in use at their facilities.
