You Asked

Hi,
we all love LiveSQL and use it a lot. But we would like to use it internally in our company as well. Is there a way to download the underlying apex app and or schema script(s)? If not, are there plans to do so? Maybe it's also a candidate for integration in the (APEX) App Gallery?

Thanks for your answer!

Great to hear you love Live SQL; I agree it's a great tool.

I'm not aware of any plans to share the source code for the application, but I'll speak with the owners of it about this.

A big question here: why do you need a local version of Live SQL? What does it give you that other development tools (SQL Developer (web), SQLcl, the APEX workshop, etc.) don't?

LiveSQL ist great for sharing HowTos and Snippets. It can be used like a small documentation for a project or framework. So it's less the possibility to run adhoc the code (you can copy it to your favorite IDE). It's more the app and the structure itself (each topic equal in layout, metadata etc.).
Maybe it's easier for you to share the app without the live execution button!?

If the powers that be give this some traction, we'll post here
