Dear Experts,
Imagine that a partner as 8 Database EE Embedded licenses for end users and 4 Database EE Full licenses for their own internal application. Now, they want to implement only one Audit Vault appliance to collect and audit logs for all those databases, how should the license Audit Vault?
Thanks you in advance

Emilia - great talking with you on today's call.  Licensing for AVDF is based on the target being monitored. There is no separate charge for the Audit Vault server. So the only thing to be considered are the 8 database EE licenses for their end-user applications and the 4 internal databases.

Hello Tom

Here is my database EE license calculation, I need to know the calculation for oracle database audit vault and firewall license as per-processor basis : please help me on this

By Processor licenses with 0.5 factor:
All processors where the database is installed and/or running must be licensed
Calculation is (4 processors x 24 cores = 96 cores)
96 cores x 0.5 core factor = 48 Processor licenses required

Always best to talk to your local account representative for licensing information, because they will have the latest information and also access to any existing license data for your organization which can be used to lower/consolidate costs.
