Description

How to Store and Manage Named R and Python User-Defined Functions in Autonomous Database
Join us for this session on the Oracle Machine Learning for R (OML4R) and Python (OML4Py) Script Repository. The primary use of the script repository is to support deploying R and Python-based solutions to applications and dashboards easily by invoking user-defined functions (UDFs) from SQL and REST APIs. Users store UDFs in the user's database schema and can grant and revoke access to other database users, facilitating code hand-off from data scientists to application developers within the database, and avoiding separately managed flat files during solution deployment. UDFs can also be loaded across database sessions and even used in other named UDFs. This session includes a demonstration through OML Notebooks on Oracle Autonomous Database.
