I want to ask you that, can kafka read uncommitted data form oracle database from a session where data is not committed?

I don't know a great deal about Kafka, but Robin Moffat has an excellent video on the topic of Kafka/Oracle



It references log based capture, and uncommitted changes are definitely contained in the redo logs...the question I can't answer is whether Kafka will consume them as they occur.
