Hi Umut,
Great question. This is a hot topic for enterprise applications with transactions now modernizing to a Microservices architecture with loosely coupled bounded domains. There is a transactions framework around Microservices called Sagas, and is implemented with LRAs (Long Running Actions) in Helidon and other microservices frameworks. We will address how applications do this today (writing their own compensation) functions, and also how the database support can simplify this.
If you have other questions, concerns please raise them. We'll also have two Oracle Aces join us for sharing their experiences with customers in EMEA and LAD.
