AskTOM Office Hours offers free, open Q&A sessions with Oracle Database experts. The database is at the heart of every application; it is critical to every enterprise that their data be secure. Oracle Database offers a multitude of enterprise-strength security tools and we are eager to help you leverage them fully in your organization.

We hold two sessions on the second Wednesday of each month, one at 9:00 am US Central time, the other at 18:00 pm US Central time. Content for both sessions is identical, so just pick whichever works best with your schedule.

Russ Lowenthal, Senior Director of Database Security Product Management    
Russ Lowenthal is the product manager for Database Security, focused on database encryption, masking, access control, audit, and monitoring. Russ is based in Orlando, Florida, USA and has been with Oracle for over twenty years. Leveraging close to thirty years of experience in IT including database, UNIX systems and network administration, he now advises Oracle's customers on secure implementations of information systems technology. Russ' certifications include Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Certified Technical Trainer (CTT).
