AskTOM Office Hours offers free, open Q&A sessions with Oracle Database experts. In this session we explored In-Memory Deep Vectorization enhancements in 23c with Andy Rivenes (@TheInMemoryGuy). We reviewed the In-Memory Deep Vectorization framework that was first released in Oracle Database 21c and then demonstrated how the new join types that were added in 23c work and how to see that SIMD vector processing was used.
