You Asked

Team,

Very recently we got a question from our customer that "can I replace Elastic search using Oracle 19c or any version of Oracle database prior to that"?

Any inputs/directions to that please - kindly advice.

That's a very vague question - without knowing exactly what they're using Elasticsearch for and why the answer is a solid:

Probably?

The core of Elasticsearch is free-text search and analytics. Which you've been able to do in Oracle Database for ages using Oracle Text.

To give a more meaningful answer you need to dig into their requirements and find out how they're using Elasticsearch currently.
