Question: As my application is using some JAVA function as UDF using loadjava. So, developers are suggesting to set JAVA_JIT_ENABLED parameter as true. I have read ( https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28320/initparams098.htm#REFRN10289 ) that this parameter is platform-dependent, however, not able to find the list of the platforms on which JAVA_JIT_ENABLED can be set as true. On the application system, currently, it is set as <false>.

Sub Question: In case we are able to set this parameter as true, I want to know the side effects and benefits of enabling this parameter.

Thanks.

Thanks for your patience.

I asked around internally - all currently supported platforms also support JAVA_JIT_ENABLED
