Hi Developers,
I am using Oracle 10g.
I need to take backup of my database.

I can take a back-up of tables, triggers etc using sql developers' Database Backup option but there are multiple users created in that database.
Can you please support me how can I export all DDLs to create users, create roles and their grants?

Please halp.

An extract of the DDL isn't a backup! It's just the metadata for your schemas. That said, SQL Developer does have several options for extracting DDL:

Recovery Manager (RMAN) is the tool that manages backup and recovery. You can configure this in SQL Developer:
