Hope you are fine,,,
I have a distributed database about 20 branch,,,

each database have the same schema structure

we need a centralized report that reads from only four tables.

currently we take a dump file from each branch and import it to the centralized database.

we are currently evaluating oracle replication, we have some questions.

the tables in the branches databases have the same name, can i replicate those table (with the same name) to a table in the target database with the same name also?

if not possible, can i replicate a table from source database to a table in the target database with different name?

is there any better solution using replication or any other tool.

Regards,

I would recommend looking at Oracle GoldenGate for this use case. You can replicate data in real-team from all of your databases into a centralized data warehouse system for reporting.
