Hi

I don't know but I have been told, that
"12c db creation wizard doesn't even allow AMM (MEMORY_* parameters) anymore for databases with more memory than... 4 G if memory serves me"

So what is the current wisdom for big (?) dw databases ? Should we use MEMORY_TARGET or SGA_TARGET+PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET or something else.

For me, in *all* databases, I would recommend the combination of SGA_TARGET, PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET

Restrictions on huge pages associated with memory_target (imho) make it not suitable for many databases.
