How i can duplicate database from production database?
I have a little confusion as below.
A) on standby database , Is install oracle database or software only?
B) If software only then how i can connect to rman because on standby database does not contain any database so no possible user?

A) software only, but use netca (network config assistant) to create a listener
B) start your listener, and then rman will be able to connect to your instance.
