Hi there!

I want to know if it possible to get information about queries in database (like v$active_session_history contains) without diagnostic and tuning packs?
This datadictionary view v$active_session_history consists of x$kewash and x$ash fixed tables. After disabled diagnostic and tuning packs they are empty.
So, where tracing tools get this information from?

Mikhail

To access that data without diag/tuning packs is a license violation....which never ends up well for anyone :-)

You can try a lesser featured but free simulation, eg
