Is there a way to know the schema/User creator in Oracle?

You could enable auditing or log this via DDL triggers. But if you haven't done these I'm not aware of a way to do this after the fact.

Is there a reason why Oracle doesn't provide that information by default? I don't think it is gonna consume a lot of space.

Because most people don't care? If you need to know who is running what DDL, you should have auditing on anyway. Which will give you this information.
