what will be the performance impact, if I remote source hana tables to Oracle 11g for real-time data read and update some oracle master table. as Oracle is OLTP and hana is used as data warehouse.
Can you pls suggest, the performance impact due to deduplication and column store compression (Hana column store - Oracle row store)

My understanding is that HANA => Oracle, or Oracle => HANA is ultimately just a client connection to the server (depending on which way the traffic is going).
So if Oracle is reading from HANA, it is no different to anyone else querying HANA - the cost is based the queries you are running.
If HANA is reading from Oracle, then HANA is no different to anyone else querying HANA - the cost is based the queries you are running.
The decompression etc will be a HANA cost, because its the application doing all that work.
