Thanks for this service

I would to filter an table, preferably using interactive reports as it is easy to use, and then use a button to:

write the filtered table into a new table
or
to update the existing table to remove the non filtered records

It shows how you can get the query that was performed by an interactive report. Since an interactive report can have an arbitrary number of columns (as selected by the user) that makes storing the result difficult.

If you are going to head down this path, I'd suggest the nominated columns remains fixed for such requirements.
