Hi team,

I have 11g Production database logical backup export and When development team required we import it into the reporting database.
But now we have migrated 11g database to 12c with ASM and same logical backup export is every day.

So, when development team require

1. Can we export 12c dump into 11g database ? If Yes then which objects will import if not then which backup is required to take (SCHEMA export everyday) ?

One more doubt is
2. Can we restore RMAN Backup of 12c into 11g database ?

Thanks

1) Yes you can. Its covered in the documentation - you might need to set the VERSION parameter, or can you just rely on the 'compatible' parameter.

https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/SUTIL/GUID-BAA3B679-A758-4D55-9820-432D9EB83C68.htm#SUTIL110

2) If you've set 'compatible' to 12 on the v12 database, then no you cannot. If compatible has been left at 11, then you could do it, but you would still have to do a database-downgrade at the end of the restoration to take the data dictionary back to v11. And that is typically not a trivial exercise, but it could be scripted.
