Hi Team
I would like to what are your review comments about the tool

"ebd360"

https://carlos-sierra.net/2014/02/19/meet-edb360-a-free-tool-that-provides-a-360-degree-view-of-an-oracle-database/

personally i am not inclined to use this.

reasons
- I have my own light weight sqls which scan the HIST table and ASH data which tells me potential bottleneck which is about to get surfaced or the current statistics about the database performance.
- I am not too fancy about the output report ( Html etc)
- I would like to see the raw low level data captured suing some of the very simple and plain sqls rather then rely on the report which pop ups directly to me.
- it is not something which is written by someone in Oracle

I haven't yet tried this but there are certain push to set up this in production database.

Thanks

Carlos is a former Oracle employee and tuning specialist, and his work is endorsed by many members of the Oracle community.

I've used it in the past, and I've been impressed with it - but like any tool, its important to evaulate and test it and make sure it meets the needs that *you* have for it.

But I've never heard anything negative about it.

Hope this helps.
