You Asked

Hi Tom,

Which is the best way to migrate a DB from MS SQL server to Oracle 12c?
I can see couple of sources for that from some forums but still unclear with that.
Please help on this.

Thanks in advance.

Some good documentation on the tools here

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/migration-101800.html

and a nice blog post with a demo from Jeff Smith, on how you can integrate this with SQL Developer

http://www.thatjeffsmith.com/archive/2011/06/moving-data-to-oracle-with-migration-workbench/

http://www.thatjeffsmith.com/archive/2012/01/sql-developer-supports-db2-sybase-mysql-access-and-teradata/

If you had a huge amount of data to migrate, then you could also consider GoldenGate for the task.

Hope this helps.
