Two things here
1) you need to practice scenario based activities/questions.
2) you might need to improve communication skills
In most interviews I've given, taken or seen over the years, a (good) interviewer is not necessarily looking for a candidate to have all the right answers, but they do want a candidate that can
- explain their thought processes in how they would tackle a problem
- can logically go through a series of steps, even if it doesn't end up at the right solution
- can communicate at a technical level but also at a non-tech level depending on the audience
It may well be the case that your knowledge is fine.
